What we love about it
Seafront villas are almost impossible to come by, but the fantastic Casa del Mar offers spacious holiday accommodation right on the beachfront.
The large terrace on the first floor catches lots of sun, an ideal spot for getting a tan or relaxing with a refreshing drink or reading a book.
The villa is big and spacious with five bedrooms which are perfect for large families or groups travelling together. The villa has been a popular property for bringing all the generations to holiday together from grandparents to grandchildren.
Just 15 minutes walking to the town centre where you'll find a great range of restaurants and shops.
Casa del Mar is right across the road from the long stretch of beach in Puerto Pollensa which is child-friendly, there are many water activities as well as sun loungers and parasols for hire.
The villa offers lots of entertainment for the children with private pool, table tennis and the beachfront right across the road.
The back of the property provides more privacy than the front with a covered dining area, sun loungers by the pool and an outdoor room with additional dining table and fridge.
Things to know
You will be in one of the best locations in Port de Pollença, if you book for the peak season there will be a lively atmosphere.
A word of warning: occasional evening entertainment can be heard from nearby hotels. This can happen more often during peak season but not past midnight.
Best not to choose this property if you are looking to get away from it all in a quiet country environment. If that is the case we recommend you have a quick look at some other rural properties we have available, however, rest assured at Casa del Mar you'll have a prime location in a great family resort!
Entrance, air conditioned sofa area with TV. The front room is an open plan sofa/dining room looking through a large window to the seafront. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area, 1 twin bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 full bathroom with separate shower and bath.
1 double master bedroom with en-suite shower and walk in wardrobe. 2 twin bedrooms, 1 full bathroom with separate bath and shower.

Puerto Pollensa (or Port de Pollença) is a hugely popular holiday destination for families coming to Mallorca. Originally a small fishing village, Puerto Pollensa has been built around a now much larger harbour than back in the day. With a large stretch of pedestrianised seafront promenade this is a very family friendly resort and there is plenty of beach to go with it. The bay is stunning with it’s views of the mountains and sheltered, calm waters. On offer are fantastic restaurants and cafes as well as plenty of daytime activities on the beach. For more active people , hiking and biking in the area is also five stars.
The weekly fruit and vegetable market is a real highlight and takes place every Wednesday from 8am - 1pm selling fresh, local produce.

Spent a week here with 6 adults and 1 child. This villa is in a wonderful location, right on a lovely sandy beach and a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. The villa itself is immaculate and the pool is a good size. There is a BBQ which we used and a lovely shady seating area next to the pool. In the kitchen is everything you need for self catering, although we ate out a lot because of the short distance to the port. The villa was well contained, so we did not have to worry too much about the little one wondering off. Superb holiday.
"Would definitely come back to this villa if we come back :)"

Host was superbly nice. Very quick response. Had some issues with transportation and finding the property, which she immediately called me on her own accord to help me with the issues. Gave us very detailed directions to the villa. Upon arrival, had an extremely comprehensive booklet detailing the history of the place, things to do, where to eat, etc.
We accidently brought back the key to the villa, and the host was very nice about it, just asking us to post it back very very satisfied and grateful for the terrific service. The villa was very nicely put together, fridge stocked up with items upon arrival. Clean, big and the beach was right outside.
“Extremely well situated, shops & restaurants in walking distance & an outstanding view of the bay of puerto de pollensa”

Overall great service from Prestige villas- booked at very short notice but everything was in place when we arrived. Freshly painted for the new season, everywhere looked good- although we were told the kitchen was next on the list for renovation- it did not matter to us at all - everything worked! Prestige booked us a chef for our son's birthday (excellent) and they had a cake made- again all at short notice!
Liked the property-as there were only four of us we could spread out & there was always a different place to sit out in the sun or shade if we wanted to- plenty of sun loungers. I would have liked a table tennis table & gym equipment and I believe the table tennis table is in place now.
Loved the location- 2 mins from the beach. Beautiful view especially some of the sunsets.
Flat easy walk to centre with many shops & restaurants along the way. Some lovely places to visit nearby- under an hour away.
Liked best- the view & position of the villa and Puerto de pollensa itself Liked least- the cold swimming pool & intermittent wifi !!! but so many good points........
“The Best Family Villa in Puerto Pollensa?”

The location of this villa is unbeatable, overlooking the fabulous sandy beach and two minutes walk from a supermarket and bars, but yet we were unaware of any outside noise. it's about 10 minutes walk to the marina and the main drag.
Our extended family- 8 adults and 4 children aged from 7 down to 2- book a villa every year, and it is difficult satisfying everyone. Some of the adults are really picky and can be very critical about amenities and bathrooms etc. EVERYONE LOVED THIS VILLA!
There are three separate outside seating areas, these got the sun at different times. ( and the two front ones had good shade) which meant that it was always possible to find a quiet space to escape the hordes! We mostly used the back of the villa. The pool is excellent, surprisingly big and deep for a villa, and the water was warm at the end of May. There were plenty of loungers and table tennis so everyone was happy. A few steps up is the dining table which is in total shade, and seated us all in comfort. My first impression of the kitchen was disappointment, as it is fairly basic . However, it actually has everything you want in a holiday kitchen and there was a really good flow from kitchen to dining table to pool.
I really can't criticise anything in the villa, the lounge was good; the sofas were covered in washable loose covers, so child friendly; the bedrooms were of variable size, but even the smallest was a reasonable size. The wifi was fast. The garage beside the pool accommodated our 8 bikes with ease.
I rented this Villa through PrestigeVillas, and they were very efficient, I didn't have any worrying moments that I have had in previous years with different agents. But the best thing about the company was Anya - the rep- who had left a note that she would call for courtesy visit on Monday morning. Actually she came on the Saturday shortly after she arrived, to tell us that she was aware that a main light in one bedroom didn't work, but the side lights did, and she had organised an electrician for Monday, and he had a key so it wouldn't affect us. We were impressed with this but absolutely delighted when Anya said she would bring toys for the 4 boys when she came on Monday . She brought a stack of cars and other toys on Monday, and was a mine of information about places to go. A really nice friendly person, but even better, when she discovered that the plane for 4 adults and 2 children didn't leave until after 7pm on the Saturday ( check out was 10am) she said that the villa wasn't booked for the next week and she would organise for the cleaners to come on the Monday instead so we would be in no rush to vacate the villa. Brilliant!
